Serial Bank Robber Strikes Again

The most recent robbery took place Thursday morning.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies need a little help finding a man they say is responsible for three bank robberies.

The most recent robbery took place Thursday at 9:03 a.m. when the man walked into Ameribank, 3702 W. Bearss Ave., in the Carrollwood area and handed a teller a note demanding money, according to an email from the sheriff’s office. With an undisclosed amount of cash in tow, the man took off from the bank.

Deputies say the man is also wanted in connection with two other robberies:

· Synovus Bank, 4003 W. Neptune St., Tampa, Aug. 4 at 3:48 p.m.

· Bank of America, 9810 U.S. 301 S, Riverview, Aug. 9 at 12:54 p.m.

The man has salt-and-pepper facial hair and dark brown eyes. He stands about 5 feet, 7 inches in height and is estimated to be about 150 pounds. Deputies say he was last seen wearing a white ball cap, a burgundy long T-shirt and white cargo shorts. He wore a similar shirt during the Aug. 9 robbery in Riverview.
