The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating four incidents in which someone fired a BB or pellet gun at people.

Hillsborough County, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating four separate incidents involving a minivan, three to four male occupants and residents who have been fired upon by someone using a BB or pellet gun.

The shooting spree began around 5:20 p.m. on June 18 when three-to-four males inside a newer model, silver minivan fired on a person on Highway 92 East and Garden Lane, the agency reported in an email to media. The second incident happened at 5:50 p.m. that same day. In that case, a woman was outside her home on Sycamore Drive in Tampa when a silver minivan with three men inside passed by.

“Three BB/pellet projectiles were fired as the vehicle passed,” the email said. “One of the projectiles struck the victim in the arm.”
