Several Hillsborough Roads Set to Close for Gas Line Testing
The closings will take place in the early morning hours Monday, Sept. 22.

Hillsborough County motorists out and about in the wee hours of Monday morning may run into some road closings courtesy of a planned test on Florida Gas Transmission Company’s pipelines.
The company announced the closings Thursday to make sure motorists had plenty of notice before the testing takes place along 17 miles of pipeline.
The closings are set to take place Monday, Sept. 22, from around midnight to about 4 a.m. The following roads will be affected:

- One westbound lane on East Fowler Avenue from Jefferson Road to U.S. 301.
- Jefferson Road north of East Fowler Avenue.
- Walker Road north of East Fowler Avenue.
- Williams Road north of East Fowler Avenue.
- Northbound U.S. 301 from East Fowler Avenue to Stacy Road.
- Jackson Road south of U.S. 301.
- Ohio Avenue east of U.S. 301.
- Both directions on West Knights Griffin Road from Stacy Road to McIntosh Road
- Both directions on West Knights Griffin Road from McIntosh Road to Pless Road.
- The entire intersection of Gallagher Road with West Knights Griffin Road.
- A portion of Pless Road, north of West Knights Griffin Road.
- A portion of North Vaughn Road.
- A portion of Painted Gaits Lane.
- A portion of North Poel Road.
- A portion of Peeples Road.
- A portion of Peregrine Drive.
- A portion of Deer Herd Avenue.
- A portion of Bailey Road.
