Sheriff Investigates Shooting In Palm River Area

BRANDON, FL – A man is being treated for a gunshot wound at Brandon Regional Hospital after being shot shortly after midnight Monday, June 18.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, someone called 911 reporting gunshots fired at 5011 Marc Drive in Palm River.

Ten minutes later, a deputy at Brandon Regional Hospital reported a man entering the emergency room with a gunshot wound.

The victim and the individuals who dropped him off are being uncooperative with detectives.
