Sheriff Raids, Shuts Down Sex Club In Brandon Home
Hillsborough County Sheriff's detectives raided and shut down what they described as a sex club in a Brandon neighborhood.
BRANDON, FL -- After receiving a complaint from a resident, Hillsborough County Sheriff's detectives raided and shut down what they described as a sex club in a Brandon neighborhood.
The sheriff's office says the residents of a rented four-bedroom home in the 600 block of Huntington Street off Kings Avenue in Brandon were operating a sexually oriented business without a license and a bottle club without proper zoning or a license. The home is a short distance away from Grace Baptist Church, Impact Ministries of Brandon, Immanuel Lutheran School and two child-care centers.
Detectives say they were accepting money from patrons to enter the business, called Sexual Encounter Center, where patrons were observed unclothed and having sexual encounters.
