Sheriff Seeks Late-Night Yard Sale Thief In Seffner

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is warning residents not to leave yard sale items unattended overnight.

SEFFNER, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is warning residents not to leave yard sale items unattended overnight or you may wake up with a few less items to sell.

On Nov. 8 at 12:15 a.m., a homeowner's home surveillance camera in the 600 block of Gay Road in Seffner caught a woman rifling through treasures to be sold at a yard sale the next day.

The woman steals several items and walks away then returns and steals more.

She is white, 18 to 35 years old with wavy blonde to light brown shoulder-length hair. She was driving a white four-door car, possibly a Honda or Mazda.

Anyone who recognizes the woman is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a cash reward.
