Sheriff Seeks Man Who Shopped At Walmart With Found Debit Card

The Hillsborough Sheriff is trying to identify the man in surveillance video who used a lost debit card to purchase a television at Walmart.

VALRICO, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify the man in surveillance video who used a lost debit card to purchase a television at the Valrico Walmart, 1208 E. Brandon Blvd.

On Friday, Sept. 14 at 5:44 p.m., a shopper went to the ATM inside Walmart to check the balance on his debit card and inadvertently left the card in the machine.

Another shopper found the debit card and used it to purchase a $300 television at Walmart.

Surveillance video shows the thief wheeling the new TV out of the store.

He is a Hispanic male, approximately 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark blue scrubs and driving away in a silver or bronze truck with a topper.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200.
