Sheriff Seeks Thief Stealing Tools From Valrico Home Depot

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to identify a man who stole multiple items from Home Depot.

VALRICO, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify a man who stole multiple large items from the Valrico Home Depot store.

Around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17, a man was seen on store surveillance cameras entering the Home Depot at 1524 E. Brandon Blvd. pushing an empty flat cart.

The man walked to the indoor garden area and quickly selected two RYOBI pressure washers and one RYOBI chainsaw. After loading the items onto the cart, he wheeled it out of the store exit without paying.

The same man is believed to have stolen tools from the same store on Nov. 5.

He is described as a Hispanic man in his 40s.

Anyone who recognizes him is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office 813-247-8200 or Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a cash reward.
