Shooter Calls 911 To Report Killing Man In Valrico

The sheriff's office said Enrique Toledo admitted to deputies that he shot and killed the victim.

VALRICO, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide in Valrico in which a 53-year-old man was arrested.

On Sunday around 9:30 p.m., 911 received a phone call from a man saying he had just killed someone at his home in the 2600 block of Freeland Drive in Valrico, according to the sheriff's office.

Upon arrival, deputies learned that a verbal argument had taken place between Enrique Toledo and the victim that turned violent. The sheriff's office said Toledo admitted to deputies that he shot and killed the victim.

Toledo was charged with first-degree murder. He remains in Hillsborough County Jail without bail.
