Suspicious Vehicle at Bus Stop Prompts Warning
A Plant City girl was approached by a strange man, deputies say.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has issued an informational alert regarding the driver of a red Ford pickup truck.
According to the sheriff’s office, a 15-year-old student at Strawberry Crest High School was standing at her bus stop on Ike Smith Road around 6:30 a.m. March 20 when a suspicious vehicle approached her.
The driver, deputies say, slowed down at the stop, yelled at the girl to “come here” and then drove away. The girl reported the incident later that morning.

The sheriff’s office’s alert was issued Tuesday, March 31.
The man in question is described as being a white male in his 40s. He has brown, unkempt hair, a medium build and was wearing glasses. The man was driving a 1990s red Ford pickup, possibly a four-door. The truck had a white Tonneau cover.
