Sweet Smelling Thieves Sought by Sheriff's Office

Deputies say they swiped more than $500 worth of perfume.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is looking for some help identifying two women is says helped themselves to more than $500 in perfume.

The incident in question unfolded around 7:35 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Sephora store in the Westfield mall at 912 Brandon Town Center Drive. The two women walked into the store, took six bottles of perfume and stuffed them into bags they were carrying. They then walked out without paying.

The suspects are both described as black females. The first is about 5 feet, 5 inches in height and weighs about 180 pounds. She has a blonde weave with black hair. She was last seen wearing a multicolored skirt, light top and a gray or denim jacket. The second woman stands about 5-foot-3 and weighs an estimated 150 pounds. She has a red weave and was last seen wearing multicolored pants and a tank top.

Anyone with information about the women is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200. Tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers for a possible reward.
