Victim Paralyzed After Gas Station Shooting, Robbery: Police
Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office made one arrest in a Brandon gas station shooting but are still searching for two other suspects.
BRANDON, FL β Police have made one arrest in a Brandon gas station shooting that occurred on Sunday, but they are still searching for the two other suspects, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office posted on their Facebook.
A man sat inside his vehicle at the Mobil gas station in Brandon on Sunday night, and at 10:30 p.m., three suspects walked over to his car, said authorities.
Eighteen-year-old Jackson Wilkins pointed a gun inside the victim's vehicle and held him at gunpoint, investigators said.

As Wilkins held him at gunpoint, the two other suspects went through the victim's car.
Police said Wilkins shot the victim in the upper body, and the three suspects left the scene with the items they took from the vehicle.

Emergency Medical Services took the victim to Tampa General Hospital, where authorities say his current prognosis is full-body paralysis.
Police arrested Wilkins on charges of aggravated battery with great bodily harm, robbery, firearm discharge, attempted felony murder and carrying a concealed firearm.
Detectives have identified the other suspects as Zackery Murphy, 18 and Mark Shaw, 22.
