Video Shows Man Breaking Church Glass With Brick: Police
Police are searching for a suspect who broke into a Seffner church after he threw a brick at its front door and shattered the glass.
SEFFNER, FL — Police are searching for a man shown on surveillance footage who broke inside a Seffner church by shattering the glass door entrance with a brick, a news release said.
On Tuesday, July 14, at 7:27 p.m., a man is seen on surveillance video approaching the Chapel Baylife Church at 11505 East Broadway Ave. The video is at the bottom of this article.
Police said after he picked up a brick off the ground, he threw it through the front glass door. He reached through the broken glass, unlocked the door and went inside to the front lobby area.

He didn't take anything from the church, said authorities.
"Although he didn't steal anything, this man forced his way into a closed church and caused damages to a place meant to invoke safety and peace," said Sheriff Chad Chronister in a news release. "We need the public's assistance to help our deputies identify him, so he faces repercussions for this destructive behavior."

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said he is a white man seen wearing a black shirt, dark shorts, black and white shoes with a backpack that has a red stripe.
