Walmart Rolls Out Order-Ahead Groceries in Tampa Bay
Shoppers in three towns can order groceries online for pickup.
Tampa Bay area residents crunched for time can now order their groceries online and let Walmart Supercenter employees do the shopping for them.
The company announced that Tampa is one of 10 new markets where consumers are now able to order groceries online for pickup at participating stores. While the groceries will still cost customers cash, the service does not.
All shoppers need to do is place their grocery order online and then pick up at the store. The service went live in Tampa Bay on Oct. 15, but the three local stores taking part won’t start fulfilling orders until Oct. 29.
