Woman Found Dead at McDonald’s Identified
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office found a woman dead inside a vehicle at the McDonald's off 78th Street Thursday night.

TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a woman found dead in a vehicle parked outside a 78th Street McDonald’s Thursday night.
According to the agency, a woman was sitting in a vehicle with another person on Rivergate Drive around 11:15 p.m. when someone fired at the vehicle, striking the woman.
The woman was able to drive to the McDonald’s at 1002 S. 78th St. before she died from her injuries, the sheriff’s office said in an email to media.

While the investigation remains in its preliminary stages, detectives have said the shooting is not believed to be random. Narcotics are believed to be involved, the sheriff’s office said Friday morning.
The woman who died has been identified as Ivonne Rivera-Ramis, 42, of Tampa. Deputies have not released the identity of the person in the vehicle with her.

No suspects have been identified at this point, nor have any arrests been announced.
