
A 21-year-old Seffner woman is the latest wrong-way driver pulled off the road by Hillsborough County deputies.
According to the agency, a deputy spotted a 1997 Mitsubishi heading north in a southbound lane of U.S. 41 around 1:07 a.m. Monday. The deputy pulled the driver over in the area of U.S. 41 and 6th Avenue Southeast and noticed an odor of alcohol.
The woman was subsequently charged with DUI and had a blood alcohol level of .141 and .133 on tests that were performed, the sheriff’s office noted in an email to media.
