FORT MYERS, FL — Mixed-media artist James Massacci brings a new solo exhibition, The Emotions of Everyday Life, to the Capital Gallery at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center (SBDAC) from July 3 through July 30, 2026. The July 3 opening reception falls during the Downtown Fort Myers Art Walk and the city’s America 250th celebration, expected to draw visitors and collectors from throughout Southwest Florida.
Massacci, whose exhibitions have been featured on NBC, ABC, and CBS, works across painting, collage, and mixed-media assemblage to examine identity, nostalgia, and the emotional currents running beneath everyday American life. His bold, layered visual style has prompted comparisons to artists like Banksy and Mr. Brainwash.
