94-Year-Old Man Killed While Crossing Hillsborough Avenue
The Florida Highway Patrol says a 94-year-old man was killed Tuesday night when he was struck by a car while crossing Hillsborough Avenue.
TOWN N' COUNTRY, FL -- The Florida Highway Patrol says a 94-year-old man was killed Tuesday night, March 28, when he was struck by a car while crossing West Hillsborough Avenue.
FHP said Wilbert W. Williams was attempting to cross from the center median near Webb Road around 8:15 p.m. when he was struck by a westbound 2012 Hyundai Sonata driven by Jessica F. Tenenblatt, 39, of Tampa.
Williams died at the scene, FHP said.
