LIVE JAZZ AT TAMPA PITCHER SHOW with the JAZZ XPERIENCE 11/19/15
The Jazz Xperience consists of Phil Provenzano on flugelhorn, Patrick Bettison on piano, and Jon Shea on acoustic bass.
“Phil Provenzano and The Jazz Xperience” is a main-stream, straight-ahead jazz combo. The instrumentation ranges from a trio, with Phil on flugelhorn along with bass and piano or guitar, to a quintet by adding a sax and drums. “Phil Provenzano and The Jazz Xperience” was originally formed to perpetuate the West Coast jazz sound, such as that of Gerry Mulligan and Chet Baker, but has grown to include other mainstream jazz sounds, in addition to creating an identity all its own.
