TAMPA BAY TRIPLE THREAT THEATREIS HOLDING OPEN AUDITIONS FORDisney’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND, JR.at Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy Tampa Bay Triple Threat Theatre will hold open auditions for young performers ages 5-18. Auditions will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy. WHERE: Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy WHEN: Saturday, August 29, 2015 AUDITION TIMES: 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm Ages 5 - 6 1:30 pm - 2:00 pm Ages 7 - 8 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm Ages 9 - 11 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm Ages 12 & up Audition Requirements: No previous experience is required. Students should come prepared to sing a song (1 minute or less). Students will also perform a cold reading selection.
Audition Attire: All Students should wear clothing they can move in easily and comfortably. Audition Fee: There is a $15 Audition Fee (payable to Triple Threat Theatre) for each performer. Tampa Bay Triple Threat Theatre will present the production of ALICE IN WONDERLAND, JR. on December 19, 2015. Rehearsals will begin in September. Depending upon assigned role, rehearsals will be held on Friday and/or Saturday until the week of performances, which will include additional rehearsals the last week prior to the performances. Music and Lyrics by Sammy Fain and Bob Hilliard, Oliver Wallace and Cy Coban, Allie Wrubel and Ray Gilbert, Mack David, Al Hoffman, and Jerry Livingston. Music adapted and additional lyrics by David Simpatico. This production is based on the 1951 Disney film “Alice in Wonderland” and the novels “The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass” by Lewis Carroll.
