TAMPA BAY TRIPLE THREAT THEATRE IS HOLDING OPEN AUDITIONS FORTHE NUTCRACKER BALLETat Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy
Under the Artistic Direction of Stanislav Ivanov, Tampa Bay Triple Threat Theatre will hold open auditions for Dancers, Acrobats and Adults. Auditions will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy.Audition Times: 9:00 - 9:30 am Girls Ages 4-5 (no previous dance experience required) 9:45 - 10:30 am Girls Ages 6-7 (no previous dance experience required) 10:45 - 11:30 am Girls Ages 8-11 (must have previous dance experience) 11:45 - 12:30 pm Acrobatics Audition (must have an Aerial or Back Handspring to attend) 12:45 - 1:30 pm Girls/Boys 12 & Older (Girls must have at least 1 year of Pointe, bring Pointe shoes) 1:45 - 2:15 pm Boys Ages 5 & Older (no previous dance experience required) 2:30 - 3:00 pm Adults (No previous dance experience required / contact the Academy if unable to attend the audition)
Audition Attire:Girls: Solid color leotard, pink tights, hair securedBoys: Solid color t-shirt, black pants or shortsAdults: Clothing comfortable to move inAudition Fee:There is a $15 Audition Fee (payable to Triple Threat Theatre) for each performer.Scholarship opportunities will be available through CBT for two promising young males (ages 11 and up) for training in our intensive dance program for the 2015-2016 season. Rehearsals will begin in September. Depending upon assigned role, rehearsals will be held every Saturday until the week of performances, which will include one or two dress rehearsals.
