AUDITIONS FOR THE SLEEPING BEAUTY BALLET

TAMPA BAY TRIPLE THREAT THEATRE IS HOLDING OPEN AUDITIONS FOR

THE SLEEPING BEAUTY BALLET at Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy

Under the Artistic Direction of Stanislav Ivanov, Tampa Bay Triple Threat Theatre (TBTTT) will hold open auditions on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy.

Audition Times:

• 9:00 - 9:30 am Girls Ages 5-6 (no previous dance experience required)
• 9:45 - 10:15 am Girls Ages 7-8 (no previous dance experience required)
• 10:15 - 10:45 am Girls Ages 9-11 (must have previous dance experience)
• 10:45 - 11:30 am Girls Ages 12 and Older (must have previous dance experience. Girls with at least one year of Pointe, please bring Pointe shoes)

• 11:30 - 12:00 pm Boys ages 6 and Older (no previous dance experience required)
• 12:00 - 12:30 pm Boys ages 8 and up with dance experience (TBTTT will scholarship Boys ages 16 & up).
• 12:30 - 1:00 pm Adults

Audition Attire:

Girls: Solid color leotard, pink tights, hair secured

Boys: Solid color t-shirt, black pants or shorts

Adults: Clothing comfortable to move in easily

There is an Audition fee for each performer: $15 Audition Fee (for TBTTT members) and $20 (for non-members) both payable to Tampa Bay Triple Threat Theatre.

Tampa Bay Triple Threat Theatre and The Classical Ballet of Tampa will present the full production of THE SLEEPING BEAUTY at the University of South Florida Theatre One on April 30, 2016. Rehearsals will begin on January 16, 2016. Depending upon assigned role, rehearsals will be held every Saturday until the week of performances, which will include one or two dress rehearsals.
