Bearded Man Sought In $1K Gillette Razor Heist

TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is looking for some assistance to identify a suspect deputies say managed to help himself to $974 worth of razors on Monday.

According to the sheriff’s office, the man walked into the CVS at 6701 N. Dale Mabry Highway around 12:47 p.m. and selected “a large quantity of Gillette razors.” Those razors, deputies say, were placed inside the man’s backpack.

With those razors in tow, deputies say the man took off on foot from the store and moved through the parking lot toward Dale Mabry. He is described as being in his mid-30s. He stands about 5 feet, 9 inches in height and weighs about 180 pounds. The man has short dark hair and a beard, an email from the sheriff’s office said.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect in the photos is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200. Tips may also be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477.
