Lily Rosina and her mother Flor Pidnano are the heart and soul behind Dominick’s Meat & Deli in the strip mall on the corner of Ehrlich Road and Hutchinson Road in Carrollwood.
The Peruvian-born duo bought the restaurant at 5309 Ehrlich Road four years ago, but kept the Dominick’s name since the 25-year-old restaurant already had a dedicated following. Dominick’s may be quaint on the inside, but they offer over 50 items on their menu including Cuban sandwiches, philly steaks, gyros and hot dinner specials. They also provide catering.
This week, Patch's resident foodie Gina Melton sat down with Lily Rosina to talk about their family restaurant.
