St. Clement's Episcopal Church will host a Blessing of the Animals celebration on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 9 AM until 2PM.

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS FESTIVAL AT ST. CLEMENT’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH
Tampa, FL, September 18, 2014 – On Saturday, October 4, St. Clement’s Episcopal Church will host a Blessing of the Animals Festival, from 9 AM to 2 PM, which will offer something for everyone in the family: children, parents, grandparents, and pets –
· Blessing of the Animals Worship Service at 10 AM: all animals are welcome. Father Andrew Heyes will bless small animals inside the church and large animals outside, under the oak trees.

· Activities: Pets & Kids Parade at Noon, with awards for all and special prizes for costumes; Horseback Rides offered by Rosanna’s Paint Farm; animal meet-and-greets from local Animal Rescue Groups.
· Programs: St. Clement’s Handbell and Chimes Choir; Horse Handling Demonstration by Rosanna Cafaro; “Signs of Stress in Animals” with Pamela Babcock of Courteous Canine, Inc.; Words of Winston and Friends Book Signing; “Essential Oils for Pets” with Dacia Mitchell of The Main Street Homestead.

· Pet Grooming by Barkley and Purrl’s Mobile Pet Spa.
· One-stop shopping: Arts & Crafts Show, St. Clement’s Marketplace & Plant Porch, and Vendor Booths.
· Chances to win – prize drawings, with scratch-offs for children; silent auctions.
· Food – from the Courtyard Café and Sweet Shop.
Admission is free.
