New Pureology Highlight Stylist Line

This week we're previewing Pureology's new Highlight Stylist line.  The products include Sea-Kissed Texturizer, Bodifying Luminator and Gold Definer.  It's the first collection of styling products by Pureology for highlighted hair, and was designed to illuminate highlights while perfecting your style.  
I like that Pureology specially formulated this line to leave your highlights looking more healthy and radiant by reducing porosity and strengthening the hair. The products are also free of alcohol, silicone, salt, paraben and minerals - which are known to strip color and dry out the hair - so I like that it's promoting healthy hair and lasting colour.

The Sea-Kissed Texturizer is great for creating tousled waves with radiant shine.  The Bodifying Luminator adds body, fullness and multi-dimensional shine.  And lastly, the Gold Definer is a contour shine-gel, great for smoothing frizz control and getting a long-lasting smooth blowout.  This one can be used on wet or dry hair.    

Today I used the all three products on my guest Sara.  I started out with two pumps of the Bodifying Luminator, which I emulsified in my hands and then worked through her hair roots to ends. Next I incorporated one pump of Gold Definer the same way - emulsified and applied roots to ends.  Then I combed through her hair to evenly distribute the product.  I dried it with a diffuser, touching the hair as little as possible and just placing the diffuser into the hair u ntil 100% dry.  At the end I added a few sprays of Sea-Kissed Texturizer and scrunched it in to give a little bit more of the beachy wave feel.
