For lack of a better solution, the local sheriff brings Bat Boy (Simon DuPriest) to the home of the town veterinarian, Dr. Parker (Luis Graham), where he is eventually accepted as a member of the family and taught to act like a “normal” boy by the veterinarian’s wife, Meredith (Melissa Doell), and teenage daughter, Shelley (Jillian Koehn).
Bat Boy is happy with his new life, but when he naively tries to fit in with the narrow-minded people of Hope Falls, they turn on him, prodded by the machinations of Dr. Parker, who secretly despises Bat Boy. 
Shelley and Bat Boy, who have fallen in love, run away together from the ignorant townfolk, but their happiness is shattered when Meredith arrives and reveals a shocking secret. Soon, the entire town arrives to hear the horrifying story of Bat Boy’s unholy origin.Bat Boy:&nbsp;The Musical is&nbsp;written by&nbsp;Keythe Farley and Brian Flemming with&nbsp;music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and directed by&nbsp;Danny Dunderman. This production is being produced in association with Concord Theatricals.

Fall Fest, presented by Carrollwood Village Phases II &amp; III, is a free, harvest-themed, family-friendly outdoor event featuring live music, food trucks, artisan vendors, crafts, games, and more!
Live entertainment throughout the day with the Carrollwood Strummers, storyteller Windell Campbell, and the Carrollwood Jukebox Big Band.
The Kids’ Zone, sponsored by AdventHealth-Carrollwood, will feature bounce houses and a petting zoo from 1 until 4 p.m.
Come check it out! Admission and parking are free.

Through daring tricks and quick thinking, Anansi turns impossible challenges into a gift for all humanity. Each note and narrative thread reminds us that stories are meant to be shared, and that sometimes, the smallest voice can change everything.

Experience Tampa’s 19th-century living history museum after dark during Tall Tales of Old Florida at Cracker Country! Meet costumed storytellers spinning uniquely Florida stories about skunk apes, misbehaving trains, cow hunting giants and other legendary creatures. Enjoy Victorian-era games, stargazing, demonstrations and other spooky season fun! A little scary, a little funny and always family friendly, Tall Tales is a Florida history adventure by lantern light. This family-friendly evening includes: •	A lantern-lit walking tour of the museum grounds, featuring fantastical Florida tales performed by live storytellers •	A vintage magic lantern experience, showcasing the birth of film technology •	19th century games and activities •	Exhibits featuring early science fiction and mystery literature and film •	Live blacksmithing demonstrations •	Stargazing with the St. Petersburg Astronomy Club •	Complimentary snacks •	Holiday shopping in the General Store Tickets are sold in time blocks.
