Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies have identified a suspect in yesterday's Fifth Third Bank robbery in Carrollwood. According to a sheriff's office media release, Robert Irving Hubbard, 33, 6501 S. Westshore Blvd. No. 201, is a suspect in the Nov. 29 robbery. That incident unfolded around 8:36 a.m. when a man walked into the 13001 N. Dale Mabry Highway bank and handed a teller a demand note. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene in a 2001 Ford Taurus. The car has since been recovered by deputies, the release said. Hubbard is described as a white male who is 6-foot-1. He weighs about 190 pounds and has a medium build, red hair and blue eyes. Hubbard was previously arrested on DUI, possession and disorderly conduct charges, according to jail records. Anyone with information about Hubbard's whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at 813-247-8200. Those who wish to be eligible for a cash reward can report information about Hubbard's whereabouts to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
