CARROLLWOOD, FL -- A 78-year-old man was arrested after being accused of forcibly grabbing and trying to kiss a 15-year-old girl who was on her way home from school.Adoor Venugopal is charged with battery, a third-degree felony, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. Police said he approached the teen near the intersection of Dale Mabry Highway and Tahoe Court around 2:45 p.m. Monday, April 30, and made sexual comments. When she tried to run away, he grabbed her and tried to kiss her. The girl pushed him away and ran home.Venugopal was taken into custody and booked into the Hillsborough County Jail.
