TAMPA, FL – The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help identify a man who attacked a woman walking on the Northdale Lake Park trail in Lutz Saturday, Feb. 24. The woman was approaching the exit of the trail into her neighborhood at about 3:45 p.m. when she was attacked from behind. Her attacker threw her to the ground and removed her shorts before something caused him to stop and flee the scene. The victim had bruises and abrasions as a result of the attack. Her attacker is described as white with brown hair, about 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 200 to 230 pounds with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a dark gray Columbia-style short-sleeved, button-down shirt, khaki shorts, black Nike athletic shoes, a two-toned baseball cap and mirrored aviation sunglasses.
