County School Board to Re-Draw Districts
This marks the first time county divisions have been re-drawn
For the first time, the Hillsborough County School Board will be revisiting the ways the county was divided into school board districts, according to a story on tbo.com.
The board will discuss the issue during a workshop today. A public hearing will be held on Oct. 4, when a new map will be rolled out.
Population shifts over the years has caused a shift in balance in some districts, which the board hopes to remedy.
