Deputies: Bar Hookup Ended With a Robbery
A woman is accused of knocking a man unconscious and then helping herself to his wallet.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for some help identifying a woman they say hooked up with a man last weekend at a bar and then proceeded to rob him.
The incident at the 8603 N. Dale Mabry Highway bar began to unfold around 5 p.m. Feb. 7 when the victim met a woman inside the bar. The two, an email from the sheriff’s office stated, began to chat it up. Before too long, the woman asked the man for help getting gas at a nearby 7-Eleven.
With the fill-up complete, the victim followed the woman to Waterford Apartments on Waters Avenue. As the two sat in the victim’s vehicle, the woman is accused of striking him with an unknown object, the email stated. The man was knocked out cold.
