Deputy Involved Shooting Reported In Carrollwood
The incident happened Thursday afternoon on Streamside Drive, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deputy-involved shooting in Carrollwood.
Few details are available at this time, but the agency reports the shooting happened at 11010 Streamside Drive.
The two deputies involved, several media outlets are reporting, were not injured. A 21-year-old man, who reportedly fired on deputies as they responded to a 911 call, was wounded and has been taken to a local hospital.
