New Spring Tea Specialty Cocktail Now Featured on After 5 Menu 5 - 7 PM Weeknights at Carmel Cafe

Seasonal Mixed Drink Features a Refreshing Blend of Lime Juice, Agave Nectar and Fresh Berries  

Celebrate the return of sunny days, spring showers and seasonal flowers and enjoy a Carmel Spring Tea, the latest seasonal cocktail to be featured on the Carmel Cafe & Wine Bar After 5 menu of select foods and beverages specially priced at $5.   

Now through the end of May, Carmel Cafe & Wine Bar guests may sample this new addition to the cocktail menu - while also saving money - from 5 - 7 p.m. Monday through Friday at all Tampa Bay locations. A Carmel Spring Tea regularly sells for $8.

Inspired by a classic cocktail, the Long Island Iced Tea, this delicious, updated rendition combines fresh fruit and juices with El Jimador Tequila and Moscato wine to create the perfect refreshment to offset rising temperatures and record heat. 

The After 5 @ Carmel menu offers a great selection of food and beverages, all nicely priced at just $5. In addition to the featured specialty cocktail, the menu includes five different wines, freshly made small plate dishes and flatbreads and four additional cocktails (Cosmopolitan, Lemon Drop, Skinny Poma-tini and Vodka-tini). Guests may also enjoy two-for-one drink specials 5 - 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Carmel Café’s signature cuisine is described as Mod Med, a modern interpretation of foods and flavors traditionally associated with Mediterranean countries such as Italy, Spain, France, Greece and Morocco. The menu includes seasonal dishes that highlight produce and other ingredients when they are freshest and most flavorful. 

In addition to enjoying the Mod Med cuisine served exclusively at Carmel Café & Wine Bar restaurants, diners may choose from a global selection of wines designed to easily mix and match with the menu. Wines can also be customized according to serving size, with many available in three-, six- and nine-ounce pours or by the bottle. The full service bar also offers specialty cocktails and mixed drinks.

Customized MenuPad apps presented in iPads are placed at diners’ fingertips, offering an inviting, interactive way to view images and descriptions of each dish, learn about wines from around the world, create pairings based on personal preferences or control the pacing of food and wine orders.

Carmel Café & Wine Bar restaurants are open 11:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. Monday – Thursday, 11:30 a.m. - 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Sundays.
