Got an Outrageous Costume?

A masquerade ball is being held on Oct. 22

The Carrollwood Cultural Center, 4537 Lowell Road, is hosting a masquerade ball from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22.

Deviating from the event’s elegant format of the last two years, party-goers are encouraged to arrive in your "craziest, goofiest, scariest, silliest, most-outrageous costume” suitable for a family-friendly venue.

The event will include a costume contest, light hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar and live performance by Ricky Wilcox and The Moonsnakes, a local four-piece rock and roll band that will play Beatles’ music as well as a selection of original tunes. Members of The Moonsnakes include Wilcox, Rick Boucher on drums, Jim Brown on bass and Steve Connelly on guitar.
