Hillsborough's Silver-Haired Bank Robber Busted

The man wanted in connection with a number of recent armed bank robberies is behind bars.

A photo posted on Facebook has led to the arrest of the man Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies say is responsible for at least three recent armed bank robberies.

Deputies say a person identified Todd Michael Vincent, 47, after seeing his photo posted on the social media site. Vincent of 814 Country Club Drive W. has been connected with multiple bank robberies that began in August.

The most recent robbery occurred Thursday around 9:33 a.m. when a man entered the BB&T Bank, 1707 Parsons Ave. S., with a semi-automatic pistol and demanded cash.

The other robberies police have connected him occurred:

  • On Aug. 9 at the Bank of America, 9810 U.S. Highway 301 S.
  • On Aug. 14 at U.S. Ameribank, 3702 Bearss Ave. W

Deputies arrested Vincent near his home Thursday. They recovered a large amount of cash, an email to media from the sheriff’s office stated.

Vincent is also considered a suspect in several recent robberies within the City of Tampa.

He faces three armed robbery charges and was being held at the Hillsborough County Jail without bond as of Friday morning. He has been arrested several times in the past, mainly on driving-related charges.
