TAMPA, FL – The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify two men involved in a drive-by shooting at 2:30 a.m. Friday, March 23, near the intersection of Sheldon Road and Waters Avenue West. A 44-year-old man showed up at a local hospital Friday morning with a gunshot wound to his upper torso. The victim said he was seated in the front passenger seat of his friend's truck when an unidentified vehicle drove by and fired multiple rounds. The victim is in stable condition. Detectives have photos of two men who may have been involved. Earlier in the evening, the victim got into a fight with these two men at Dagwood's Sports Tavern, 8458 Sheldon Road. One is Hispanic, in his early 20s with tattoos on his neck. The other is white, in his early 20s with short black hair and a beard. He also had tattoos on his neck. They were driving a dark Dodge Charger with a rear spoiler. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred at the intersection of Sheldon and Waters.
