Leto High Student Struck By Car
The accident happened on Linebaugh Avenue Wednesday morning.
TAMPA, FL — A 15-year-old Leto High School student has been hospitalized following an accident on Linebaugh Avenue Wednesday morning.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the girl was crossing Linebaugh from the median to the sidewalk around 6:20 a.m. As she was walking, she stepped in front of a westbound vehicle on Linebaugh, just west of Hennessy.
The teenager was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening, the sheriff’s office wrote in an email to media.

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene. No charges are anticipated.
