Life Enrichment Center Offering Astronomy Workshop for Adults

The Life Enrichment Center is registering for a new series of workshops on astronomy.

In the first workshop, students will use a star chart to navigate the stars, find constellations and learn the stories that they illustrate. Then, students will head outside to use a telescope.

Students are welcomed to bring their own binoculars.

The workshop will be held from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27. The cost is $10 for members of the LEC and $15 for non-members. Annual membership to the center starts at $30.

Future workshops include subjects such as solar astronomy and operating a telescope.
