Bring your “brown bag lunch” or just attend for the hour (Noon – 1pm)
and discover the benefits of meditation for the body and mind.
Tish Ganey who will be presenting and leading the activity, has
practiced meditation and yoga for over three decades. Her daily meditation practice is in the
Vipassana style, or Insight Meditation and she incorporates other forms of
meditation in her yoga teaching and personal practice. Tish leads guided
meditation sessions as well as “meditation in motion” in her yoga studio and
continues learning through teaching, sharing new scientific findings as well as
traditional teachings that help students understand the purpose and benefit of
meditation in daily life. A “guided
meditation” will be demonstrated during part of this hour. Anyone who would
like to participate is welcome; others may stay and observe, quietly.
This is a very special opportunity to hear from an experienced
practitioner. There will be time for Q&A following the presentation. Call
