Marlow's Tavern to open in Carrollwood's Village Center

Tampa, Florida (September 15, 2015) – Marlow’s Tavern is opening a new restaurant and gathering place in the heart of Carrollwood on Tuesday, Sept. 29. The classic American tavern has a modern atmosphere, fresh high-quality food and hand crafted cocktails, and warm hospitality.

The chef-driven menu of classic dishes with a unique twist will change seasonally depending on availability of the fresh ingredients that the season has to offer will be made from scratch daily. The beverage menu includes wines selected from around the world, offering an opportunity to taste and sample great pairings by the glass or bottle. The handcrafted cocktails are created with fresh juices, small-batch liquors, biters and aperitifs blending unique flavors and combinations to experience, and its very inclusive beer selection includes bottles, cans and drafts from around the world and features local breweries like Cigar City Brewing, which are great for enjoying with friends.

Marlow’s Tavern has a great mix of comfortable seating consisting of large communal tables, covered patio tables and cozy booths. Rich accents of exposed brick, dark woods, red accent colors and eclectic black and white neighborhood photos will invite guests to linger and enjoy the company of their family, friends, colleagues and neighbors. The extensively trained staff will provide friendly welcoming service, which always enhances the warm atmosphere.

Leading into its opening, Marlow’s Tavern is partnering with the local Metropolitan Ministries to provide meals for those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Proceeds from Marlow’s Tavern’s grand opening events and ongoing support will benefit Metropolitan Ministries’ food services programs and help Metropolitan Ministries provide 2,300 meals in Hillsborough County each day, long into the future.
