Pete's Place North's Outdoor Tiki Hut Destroyed In Fire
A Tiki hut was destroyed during the early-morning hours after the dried palm fronds on the roof caught fire.
CARROLLWOOD, FL -- A Tiki hut was destroyed during the early-morning hours after the dried palm fronds on the roof caught fire.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to a call at 2:30 a.m. March 11 at Pete's Place North & Liquor Store, 8603 N. Dale Mabry Highway.
Upon arrival, a column of smoke could be seen rising from the roof of the Tiki hut structure directly behind Pete's Place North bar. Firefighters quickly had the fire under control and knocked down the blaze in about 10 minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
