Physician's Assistant Charged Following Carrollwood Drug Bust

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said a physician's assistant was dealing drugs from a home in a gated Carrollwood community.

CARROLLWOOD, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said a physician's assistant was dealing drugs from a home in a gated Carrollwood community.

Acting on a tip, Hillsborough County deputies searched the home of Anthony Loren Yarand, 38, at 2633 Milford Berry Lane in the Carrollwood Retreat, on Friday, March 8, and discovered a stash of methamphetamine, cocaine, ecstasy, THC edibles and $7,400 in counterfeit money.

Yarand was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and ecstacy, possession of heroin, THC edibles, marijuana, counterfeit money, testosterone, Adderall, Klonopin and drug paraphernalia, and keeping a public nuisance structure for drug activity.
