"The Right Shoe Can Change Your Life!" ~ Cinderella

Every young girl hopes to meet her Prince Charming, and we all wish we had our own Fairy Godmother! You’ve heard the story since you were small; you’ve probably seen Disney’s classic animated movie, or the latest film craze at the theatres. This timeless tale comes to life in Tampa Bay Triple Threat Theatre’s presentation of The Cinderella Ballet. It is set to the magical score composed by Sergei Prokofiev with the story written by Charles Perrault. This spring bring your family out to see our delightful ballet interpretation of this traditional “Rags to Riches” fairy tale dating back as far as Ancient China.

The vibrant characters step right out of the pages of the fairy tale. Cinderella’s Fairy God Mother transforms the sad mistreated girl into a beautiful princess, and despite her wicked Stepmother and evil Stepsisters, she arrives at the Ball in a Magical Carriage. Complete with the comic antics of the Stepsisters and a host of other intriguing characters, this production will be a delight for the entire family. The Cinderella Ballet is being choreographed by Stanislav Ivanov and features Professional Guest Artists, Classical Ballet of Tampa and Promising Young Artists from the Tampa Bay Community. Come experience this classic tale as Tampa Bay Triple Threat Theatre presents The Cinderella Ballet at the University of South Florida, Theatre 1 on Saturday, May 2 at 2:00 and 7:00 PM. Tampa Bay Triple Threat Theatre is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational theatre in residence at Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy. The Tampa Bay Triple Threat Theatre’s mission is to promote and encourage the advancement of education and cultural development of the performing arts by creating, furthering, and producing opportunities for the youth of our Tampa Bay community regardless of age or background.
