Sheriff Seeks Thief Who Swiped $25,000 Necklace From Mall Store

CITRUS PARK, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who swiped a $25,000 necklace from Diamond Galleria at Westfield Citrus Park mall.

According to the sheriff's office, on Jan. 30 at 1:20 p.m., a man entered the Diamond Galleria store at the mall, 8021 Citrus Park Town Center Drive, and asked to see a 10k yellow gold Miami Cuban solid chain with 20.7 carat diamonds. An employee complied and the man ran out the store with the necklace.

He is described as a Hispanic man in his early 20s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 180 to 190 pounds, unshaven, wearing a black and white Puma jacket and pants and gray tennis shoes.
