Sheriff's Office Seeking Information On Sheldon Road Shooting

CARROLLWOOD, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a drive-by shooting that occurred around 2:30 a.m. March 23.

While driving north on Sheldon Road, the victim and a friend were stopped near Sheldon Road and Waters Avenue West when a black Cadillac SUV drove by and an occupant fired multiple rounds at the passenger side of the victim's car.

The victim was taken to Tampa Community Hospital with a gunshot wound.

Prior to the shooting, the victim was involved in a physical altercation with a man at Dagwoods Sports Tavern, 8458 Sheldon Road.

The subject left Dagwoods in the pictured black SUV.

He is a white or Hispanic man in his mid-20s or early 30s. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt with the number "21" printed on the back, jeans and black and white shoes.
