If you've ever wanted to locate crime data based on your zip code or based upon specific dates, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office unveiled a new tool today that can help you do just that.
Using their new crime map, users can view crime type, location and date a crime was reported, according to officials at the sheriff's office. The names of victims are not included.
Search results are shown as points on a map, and charted in a pie graph. A link to Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is also included.
