Motorists traveling in the area of South Himes Avenue between West Bay and West Ohio avenues might want to take a different route. The Tampa Water Department has all lanes closed as it repairs a water main in the area.While barricades and signs have been posted to help motorists detour, Tampa Water's Brad Baird suggests steering clear entirely, if possible.Repairs should be complete by Tuesday around 4 p.m., Baird wrote in an email to media. Traffic, however, won't return to normal until Thursday around that time due to anticipated restoration work.Stay with Patch for updates.
