Splash! Closes Its Doors

Local seafood lovers are going to have to find a new place to dine.

Splash! An Ocean Grill closed its doors May 28 following an issue with its landlord, said Tom Perkins, one of the restaurant’s managers.

Located at 3973 Van Dyke Road, just north of Northdale in Lutz, Splash was a local favorite for years, serving up a variety of seafood dishes and other staples, such as steaks, salads and more.

Perkins said most employees found out about the closing Tuesday morning.

It’s “possible,” but unclear if Splash will reopen at another location soon.
