The ancient Asian art form, sumi-e may be regarded as an earliest form of expressionistic art that captures the unseen. The goal is not simply to reproduce the appearance of the subject, but to capture its soul. Qickly learn to paint a bird, plant and flower. Most students finish a painting they are proud to frame after the first lesson.
